Main Street

One of the most commonly used adjectives for describing Main Street Breckenridge is "quaint." That's because downtown Breckenridge showcases Victorian-style buildings and a small-town feel while also embracing an eclectic and modern attitude. Breckenridge visitors and locals alike suggest that a trip to town is not complete unless you spend some time walking Main Street. Its variety of restaurants, stores, and coffee shops is sure to please.

Specialty Food Shops 

The speciality stores along Main Street Breckenridge are always getting rave reviews. Are you in the market for some gourmet olive oil or vinegar? Head over to Olive Fusion where you can pick up some green chilli olive oil or cinnamon-pear balsamic vinegar. How about handmade chocolates or artisanal cheeses? Breckenridge Cheese and Chocolate boasts a nice selection of both as well as wine, coffee, and espresso. There's also Spice Merchants, which features a wide selection of seasonings, rubs, teas, and gift boxes.

 

Dining 

The foodies among you won't be disappointed with the restaurants, either. Fine dining options abound on and near Main Street. Enjoy a gourmet meal and speciality cocktails at Ember, which is located on Adams Avenue, just a block and a half off Main Street. If you're in the mood for contemporary cuisine and prohibition-era cocktails, you'll be delighted with Modis.

For a more casual dining environment, head to the Canteen Taphouse and Tavern where you can select from a variety of burgers and sandwiches and a number of beers on tap. Downstairs at Eric's is a marvellous choice for families with pizzas, wings, and sandwiches on the menu plus a number of HDTVs and arcade games.

Nightlife 

What about the nightlife on Main Street Breckenridge? Whether you're in the mood for an apres-ski cocktail or you just want to celebrate your arrival in town, you're sure to find a bar that suits your mood. The Gold Pan Saloon is the oldest bar in Summit County. You can sip on your cocktail or beer while you take in the historical feel of the place. The Blue River Bistro provides a more contemporary atmosphere as well as happy hours twice a day and lives music many nights.

Coffee Shops 

Think you'll need a java fix while you're in town? Cuppa Joe has a number of different and delicious coffee drinks as well as breakfast burritos, sandwiches, and baked goods. If you're in the mood for some delectable French pastries with your coffee, La Francaise has you covered.

Clothing & Jewelry 

If you'd like to do a little personal shopping while in Breckenridge, the boutique clothing and jewellery shops on Main Street are impressive. For high-end, unique clothes as well as purses, boots, and accessories, Canary in a Clothesmine is the place to go. At J & M Jewellery, contemporary and classically styled jewellery is plentiful as is mountain-themed jewellery, like snowflake- and aspen leaf-shaped pieces, that make wonderful gifts and souvenirs.
