Tubing

Tubing is a great way for all members of the family, regardless of age, to enjoy a snowy downhill thrill. While there are no resort tubing options in Breckenridge, there are other options available for those who want to experience the excitement of tubing.

CARTER PARK

Carter Park offers an excellent hill that's perfect for tubing. The hill is of the walk-up, tube-down variety with just the right amount of steepness for the perfect level of speed going down. Visitors will want to get to the park early, because although the hill is wide, it can get busy later in the day. And while there are no tube rentals at the park, there are plenty of local stores that sell affordable tubes. Carter Park is completely free and it's just four blocks east of Main Street. It also boasts wonderful mountain views, picnic tables, and bathroom facilities.

FRISCO ADVENTURE PARK

The Frisco Adventure Park is just about nine miles north of Breckenridge, making it a short and convenient drive away. Not only does the park's tubing hill feature lift service up the hill, but the tubing lanes are 1200 feet long! Guests can choose to tube for an hour or take advantage of a discounted daily lift ticket rate. But, if you're planning on visiting during the holiday season or on weekends, make sure to save your spot by making reservations ahead of time. You can make a tubing reservation online or by calling 970-668-2558.

ADVENTURE POINT

Adventure Point is located at Keystone, Breckenridge's sister resort, which is just about a 30-minute drive away. It's the world's highest tubing hill, which makes the experience that much more exhilarating. Guests can take advantage of the state-of-the-art conveyor lift to get in as many runs as they can during their hour-long tubing session. Adventure Point is open seven days a week, weather permitting, during the winter months. Reservations are required and you can make yours by calling 800-354-4386.
